In September, a total of seven research fellows (six long-term, one short-term first-round) arrived in Japan and made self-introductions followed by presentations about their research.
After the presentations, representatives from the researchers’ receiving organizations also introduced themselves, and the four Evaluation Committee members offered greetings and words of encouragement to conclude the conference.
A party was held afterwards, giving researchers from different fields an opportunity to have deeper exchanges. Representatives from the receiving organizations and judging panels also joined in the exchange of opinions, and the event ended as a resounding success.
